We finally made it to Florida. The flight leaving at 5:30 this morning was delayed an hour, so we missed all our other flights. Missed them by so much we had to go through Houston instead of Cleveland. I was prepared to go through cold cities, not muggy ones. Even inside the airport was just…sweaty.
Picked up the rental car, checked into the hotel, left again in search of dinner and beer. Dinner was found at Five Guys (we have renounced In-n-Out) and beer at a liquor store attached to an Alberstons – the fourth place we tried. Now we’re back in the hotel waiting for the Sharks game to start. 7:30 PST is 10:30 EST…the game won’t be over until after midnight and I have to go to work in the office out here all day tomorrow. Yippee.
